  • An ammonium compound with surfactant properties that functions as an antimicrobial and cleaning agent. It is created by a catalytic reaction between various salts and minerals.

  • A mineral-based ingredient used to decrease the formation of foam in a product.

  • A plant-based ingredient obtained from coconut oil that decreases the surface tension between the cleaning product and the dirty surface, removing trapped dirt.

  • A mineral-based ingredient that acts as a pH buffer in soap making, neutralizes any sodium hydroxide leftover from the soapmaking process, and helps to keep soap from sticking to fabric.

  • Made from the seeds of non-GMO canola seeds, canola oil helps to control the pH and to create a lather while preventing the soap from becoming too firm.
